All Kaerel skin care products are certified to BDIH Cosmos Natural Standard

BDIH is an independent organisation for the certification of natural cosmetics. The intention of the BDIH standard is to provide a definition of the term ‘natural’ cosmetics in the interests of the consumer. In this way, the kitemark indicates whether the term ‘natural’ cosmetics is factually correct, thereby fostering transparency.

The kitemark assures consumers that the certified products are only made from raw materials that satisfy BDIH’s strict quality criteria, the “Natural Cosmetic standard”. For example, genetic manipulation of crops and animal testing are a no-no. Independent supervisory organisations check the natural cosmetic products in terms of their ingredients and composition. Only products that satisfy these strict criteria can carry the kitemark “BDIH Cosmos Natural”.

The standard describes requirements that relate to the purchase and production of the raw materials for cosmetics and their processing. Around 5,000 products have been checked since the organisation was officially launched in the spring of 2001. Regular monitoring of the products ensures that the consumer is actually getting what he expects in terms of naturalness: True Natural Cosmetics – in harmony with man and nature!
